Rental Agreement

When are Books due back:

Students are responsible for returning their rented book(s) during the SCC Campus Bookstore Buyback/Book Return dates. Dates: May 8 - 13, 2023

What happens when I don’t return my books on time:

After May 13, 2023, if the issued books are not returned a charge will be placed on your student account that is on file.

Book Condition

You must take care of the issued rental textbooks and return the issued textbooks in the same condition that they were given to you. If there is ANY liquid damage, ripped or torn covers/pages, or other significant damage to the textbook then you will be responsible for purchasing the book(s).

• If you do not feel comfortable with a book that you are given at the beginning of the semester, due to obvious damage, please bring it to our attention within 7 days from the date of this contract and we will issue you a different book. This will avoid any costs that you might incur if you bring it back at the end of the semester damaged.
